Well, the holidays are over and now the packing begins! If anyone would like us to bring a care package to their child I would be happy to. I am so thankful to the travelling families that took pictures of Lukas and brought a care package to him. Please leave your email in a comment and I will write. We are flying out on Jan. 16.
Blessings,
Veronica

tomorrow
I haven't posted much on our blog because we are busy and I can't think up things to say. We stay very busy with our two children and I just can't find the time. Tonight, however, time is standing still, it seems. This whole weekend has been the longest weekend of my life!!!! I am beginning to think that tomorrow will never come!!! I think I am losing my mind! Tonight I found my cell phone outside in the recycle bin ( I had thrown it out with the paper).
Needless to say, I will be so happy when I wake up in the morning and it is the 7th of December. We (and everyone we know) are praying for good news tomorrow. It is so stressful knowing that we could very well not pass. We are trusting in our Sovereign GOD! He is in control.

not today
MOWA decided to do other things yesterday instead of issue an opinion on our case. We are all crushed and so sad. Now our little guy will not be home before Christmas and we will miss his second birthday.

Court Date!
November 5th is the big day!!! We are so excited to finally have our court date. Hopefully we will pass court and have our son home before Christmas!
Our son and daughter can't wait to meet their new little brother! They ran around screaming for fifteen minutes after we got the call this morning. These past three months of waiting for the court date have seemed like an eternity to them. I know these next two weeks will go by quickly now that we can mark the days off on the calender.
We are praying other families will get court dates soon!

Waiting .......
We are still waiting for a court date and it seems that we could be waiting for quite a while longer. We received our referral on July 21. It is difficult to remain content when the process moved so quickly for families who received their referrals in the weeks and months before us. Tuesday marked 10 weeks waiting for a court date.
Several travelling families took pictures for us and it has been wonderful to have so many pictures to look at during this waiting time.
Hopefully we will get a court date as soon as the courts open on October 12th, if they open then. We are praying for the families who lost their October 5th court dates.
I spent this last weekend getting the room ready for our son. It was fun to get out all of our older's son's clothes out (he is 5). Does anyone have a good idea on how to figure out shoe size? I am thinking that I may just bring two or three different sizes with me to Ethiopia. Any other suggestions?
